WheresJames Startup Manager Operating Instructions.
After launching Starup manager, it will appear in the
icon tray as a checkerd flag.
Click the icon to get the popup menu.
From bottom to top the options are:
• Exit - Closes the application.
• www.wheresjames.com - Opens your browser to the WheresJames web site.
• About - Displays version and copyright information.
• Settings -
Opens a dialog box you can use to configure the application settings.
• Task List - Displays all programs running on your computer.
• Start With Windows - If this option is checked, WheresJames Startup Manager
will start each time Windows starts. Wait a minute! Isn't that the kind of thing this program is supposed
to help prevent? Yes, we realize the irony, it's only a convenience, feel free to disable this program as well!
• Delete Disabled Items - This is a quick way to permenently remove all items that are not
enabled, that is, not checked.
• Startup Folders - Each of thes pops up a menu that you can use to
configure each item that starts with windows.
