Overlaying Time And Date
Want to add time and date to your images? It's easy! Let's dive into
a step by step on how to build the image you see above.
|
Click the Insert Time button. A small
clock will appear beside your mouse cursor to indicate
the program is ready to insert the time.
|
|
Click the area on the image where you would like the time to
appear. Bottom left in this case. Size and position the window
correctly by left clicking and draging the borders to resize.
Click and drag the center of the image to move it.
|

The time properties dialog will appear if it is not already displayed.
Click the tab marked Background. Check the box marked
Background. This will cause a background fill to appear
behind the time text. Change the color to dark gray by clicking the color
dialog box. Set the translucency value to 40%.
|
Click the Insert Date button. A small
calender will appear beside your mouse cursor to indicate
the program is ready to insert the date.
|
|
Click the area on the image where you would like the date to
appear. Bottom right this time. Size and position the window
correctly. Go ahead and click the Background
tab on the properties dialog as you did with the time. Check
the box marked Background. Set the background
color to dark gray, then set the translucency value to
40%.
|

Hopefully, your image looks something like this image. You may not
have quite the same view from Fort Clinch in Jacksonville Florida. But
the time and date should be very similar. Now, just for fun, let's add
the analog clock.
|
Again Click the Insert Time button.
|
|
Click the area on the image where you would like the time to
appear. How about the upper right? Size and position the window
correctly.
|
|
Goto the Time tab in the properties dialog box.
Change the style from Digital to
Analog.
|
And that's that. Have fun playing with time and date stamping.
