Use this dialog to configure motion detection settings. • Capture Device - Specify the capture device you wish to configure. • Enable Motion Detection - This enables motion detection. This box must be checked for motion detection to work with this device. Motion detection Publishing Tasks will not function if this option is not enabled. • Scan Type - Select the scan type to use. The detection algorithm can search for motion in a grid pattern or a dot pattern. • Motion Sensitivity - Use this slider to adjust the motion detection algorithms sensitivity to motion. You can use this option to ignore slight motion that may occur in a scene. • Brightness Sensitivity - Use this slider to adjust the motion detection algorithms sensitivity to brightness. A higher setting will cause the application to ignore changes in brightness, such as turning a light on and off. • Play Sound - You can specify a sound to be played whenever motion is detected.
