• Unique name -
Enter a unique name to identify your FTP server. This can be
a descriptive name or you can accept the default.
• Server Address -
Enter the Internet address of your FTP server. Such as
ftp.wheresjames.com.
• FTP Upload Folder -
Supply the name of the folder on the FTP server where you
wish to upload images and/or HTML pages. Usually you will
need to supply at least the HTML root document folder.
Usually something like html, htdocs, etc...
If you do not know this information, you must contact your
web site or ISP provider. WheresJames cannot help you find out
this information.
• HTTP Path -
Supply the HTTP path to the FTP site and folder. This usually is
the same as the HTTP server address + FTP folder minus the HTTP
root folder name. The program will attempt to guess, and will
usually do so correctly, but you may need to change this field.
If you do not know this information, you must contact your
web site or ISP provider. WheresJames cannot help you find out
this information.

• Username -
Supply the username used to log in to the FTP server.
• Password -
Supply the password used to log in to the FTP server.
If you do not know your username and password,
you must contact your web site or ISP provider. WheresJames
cannot help you find out this information.
• Passive FTP -
During normal FTP mode. The server attempts to contact
your pc to send data. Firewalls may block this attempt.
If you are behind a firewall, you may need to use passive
FTP mode. Passive FTP mode is the default.
• Upload as temporary file, then rename -
If this option is checked, the file will be uploaded using
a different name, then renamed. This attempts to minimize
the time an image is unavailable. And helps prevent a
partial image from being on the server.
