Disclaimer

The software, articles and information on this site are provided for general interest and personal use on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about their accuracy, availability, reliability or suitability for any particular purpose.

The downloads in Software Archaeology are Windows programs written 10–20 or more years ago. They are no longer maintained or supported, may not run on a modern system, and may be removed without notice. Install them only if you are comfortable doing so, and preferably in a virtual machine or on a computer you don’t rely on.

The articles were first published on CodeProject between 2006 and 2012 and were restored from the Internet Archive. They describe the tools and practices of their time, some of which are now outdated, and some links in them no longer work.
